Hyaluronicum – Intensive moisturising serum for oily skin

PHILOSOPHY

Hyaluronic acid is a polymer, a linear chain formed by multiple repetitions of a sugar (glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine) with the ability to attract and retain water. It has a viscous, transparent appearance and is the basic constituent of synovial fluid or the vitreous body of our eye. This is a fantastic product that allows oxygen, vitamins and trace elements to pass through.

Shorter-chain hyaluronic acids last less and are reabsorbed faster, but these molecules, being smaller, have the ability to pass the skin barrier and are partially absorbed. The longer chain acids stay on the skin providing greater hydration and protection. By changing the proportion of both types of acid we can modify the functions of the serum.

Hyaluronic acid helps to smooth the skin surface, creates a protective barrier that protects the skin’s moisture and improves skin resistance and elasticity.

HOW TO USE

Apply a drop of product to your fingertips and massage gently onto the skin of your face and neck. Ideally, you should put the ACTIV 4 HYALURONICUM Intensive moisturizing serum for oily skin before your MATRIS cream. It can also be applied later although absorption may be less. Apply 1 or 2 times a day. It can be used in conjunction with other serums from the ACTIV range.
